Hiatus

Have you ever neglected something for a day or two?

Which turned into neglect for a week or two?

Weeks turn into months.

Months into years.

That MIGHT have happened with me and blogging.

Oops.

I won't even try to explain it.  Because there is no rhyme or reason.  Of course, I could say "life" happened.  But "life" happens for everyone and the internet is chock full of people blogging.

I would love to say that "I'm back" for good, but I won't make you any promises I can't keep, as long as you'll return the favor.  But, for now, as I lay here on Christmas Day after literally not sleeping a wink, I had a stirring to write.  To post a quick update.  Hopefully enough to get me motivated to really truly take this Blog in a direction.  It's funny how just this short post makes my fingers feel creaky.  My sentences forming slow, like I'm coming out of a deep sleep.  It's a good feeling.  Waking up.  Being heard.

Here is the update:

I got married to my Mister.

We had a baby.

Told ya.  Life happened.

Here's to a safe Christmas for you and yours.

Here's to a Christmas where I am on the opposite side of the Santa Situation.

Here's to the coming of a New Year.

Here's to possibly being a better writer.  At least a more active one.
